Common questions

Is ProudPay a payment processor?

No. We help businesses find and apply for merchant accounts through our payment processing partners. The provider handles processing and determines approval and account terms.

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

Your submitted business and contact details are used to arrange follow-up about your request. The processing team can discuss your needs and any application requirements. Submitting the form does not open an account or guarantee an offer.

Can I inquire if another processor declined my business?

Yes. Include the reason you were given, if you know it, and explain your business accurately. A specialist can review the circumstances. Different providers may have different policies, but a new inquiry does not guarantee approval.

Can a startup request a review?

Yes. Share your planned products or services, expected volume, sales channels, and fulfillment process. If you do not yet have processing history or a finished website, say so. The specialist will explain what information may be needed.

Which industries can contact ProudPay?

We focus on high-risk and specialized merchant inquiries. You can describe your business even if it is not listed in our industry directory. A listed industry is not a promise that every product, business model, or location within it is eligible.

What information should I have ready?

Start with a description of your business, website if applicable, monthly volume, average transaction amount, and the payment channels you need. The provider may request supporting documents later. Do not send card numbers, bank credentials, identification documents, or customer payment details through the inquiry form.

Can you guarantee a rate or approval time?

No. Approval, pricing, reserves, processing limits, and timing depend on the provider's review. Ask for an estimate and a full written explanation of any proposed account terms once your business requirements are understood.

Will I need a rolling reserve?

That is an underwriting decision, not a ProudPay decision. If a reserve is proposed, ask the provider to explain the amount or calculation, how long funds may be held, release conditions, and how the arrangement affects your cash flow.

Can I keep my existing website, gateway, or POS?

Possibly. Give the specialist the platform and equipment names, plus the features you need to keep. Compatibility and any migration work must be confirmed before you change providers or buy equipment.

Who helps with an existing account or missing funds?

Contact the provider named in your processing agreement or merchant statement. ProudPay does not control transactions, settlements, reserves, or disputes. If you are exploring a new service, you can use the inquiry form to explain that request separately.
